Penang Hill offers a panoramic view of the whole George Town. At 830 m above the sea level, getting to the top of the hill is fun because you can choose to hike up or travel in the funicular train. At the hill top, there is a flower garden, a mini bird park, bungalows and guesthouses. Penang Botanical Garden

The 30-hectre Botanical Garden is a popular park among locals for its refreshing ambience. Itwas created in year 1884 by the British to collect botanical specimens from the surrounding hills. There is a Japanese Garden and  the Bamboo Setum within the arboretum. The annual international flora fest draws throngs of people with its colorful  and magnificent displays.

Tropical Spice Garden

The Garden is a pituresque oasis, home to over 500 exotic varieties of plants. Its undulating landscaped trails invite visitors to go on a mesmerizing, refreshing discovery.

Tropical Fruit Farm

Created with the intention of preserving Malaysian green heritage, the 25-acre tropical fruit farm opened in 1993. The farm has more than 250 types of tropical and sub-tropical fruits from arround the world. Visitors visit the farm to sample the fruits and take in the breathtaking vistas.

Penang Bird Park

The Penang Bird Park is home to more than 300 species of birds from arround the world. Conceived as a garden oasis, the five-acre park is filled with waterfalls, natural ponds and a rich diversity of floral and fauna. Within this beautiful environment are two walk-in aviaries, two geodesic domes and cages. You can also see free roaming flamingos, pelicans, swans, storks, mandarin ducks and other kinds of birds.
